Full Job Description

CNTW's Centre for Specialist Psychological Therapies Services (SPT) is known regionally and nationally for its expertise in complex psychological assessment, formulation and treatment, education and training, innovation, and research across a wide range of specialist modalities. These modalities include complex CBT, Psycho-dynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy and EMDR.

The role will be based in the Family Therapy Service and requires the individual to work collaboratively with colleagues to provide place based systemic family therapy and family interventions for families, couples, and networks. This includes working with a range of adult mental health concerns within our Community Treatment Teams, Early Inventions in Psychosis, and other Specialist Services.

The service works in partnership with psychological therapies and operational colleagues within community services to improve access and the quality of services offered to families and couples. The post-holder will contribute to the transformation of community services alongside the clinical lead and senior family therapists in the service., The role involves the provision of direct clinical work, alongside opportunities to develop as a systemic supervisor, and trainer within our AFT accredited Foundation and Intermediate Level Systemic Training.

We aim to attract and retain a diverse, talented and committed workforce, who are caring and compassionate, and therefore able to meet the demands of the modern NHS now and in the future. In return we can offer a dynamic working environment in which to build a career.
