Full Job Description
Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting position available based in Boston for a Family Time Worker. The post is 23 hours a week, which is worked flexibly between the hours of 9am-7pm, dependant on the needs of the service, with some weekend working being required. There is a possibility of working these hours over 3 days.
The Service promotes quality Family Time between children and young people who reside within the care of the local authority, to support the on-going relationship building between the child and their family.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will be required to organise supervise, record and assess child Family Time with the needs and safety of the child as the paramount concern. To work as part of a team, carrying out and developing the duties and responsibilities of this post, liaising with parents/carers and professionals to ensure that Family Time meets the changing needs of children and families that reside within Lincolnshire.
NVQ Level 3 in working with children/young people or equivalent must be held by the applicant along with a full driving licence and access to their own vehicle., In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post., Disability Confident
