Full Job Description

As a Family Time Worker, your role will include:

  • Family Support: Facilitate meaningful family interactions where direct living arrangements are not viable.
  • Parental Guidance: Provide role modeling and advice to help parents improve their parenting skills.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports on family interactions for court use.
  • Travel: Drive to various locations to support family meetings. Business use of vehicles is required.
  • Record Keeping: Document and save family interactions to young people's files.
  • Scheduling: Manage your own rota for family time sessions.
  • Teamwork: Solve problems and provide flexible support within the team.

    We are seeking compassionate, organized, and flexible individuals with a strong sense of initiative and teamwork. You should have:
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for business use.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience in supporting families and a good understanding of child protection and family dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing court reports.
