Full Job Description

For many fans of Formula One, the sport exists between lights and chequered flag on a Sunday afternoon. It begins and ends with the exploits of the drivers on the track. But this is merely the tip of the spear. The reality of modern F1 is that of a complex and intertwined operation, every part of which needs to perform near its limit if success is to be achieved. From the pit crew searching for the ultimate repeatable pit stop, to the inspiration of the designers, the application of engineers and the herculean efforts of an army of fabricators and machinists. Much of our success is thanks to the diversity of thought and spectrum of skill sets held within the team, our ability to recognise unique contributions from individual team members is just a part of why we love what we do.

Here at Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technology we have an exciting opportunity for undergraduate students to spend a year as part of our Fan Engagement team within Marketing!

The placement will run from the summer of 2025 for one year at our HQ in Milton Keynes, allowing you to demonstrate your enthusiasm and apply your knowledge in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

This placement will involve a unique blend of interpersonal, creative, and analytical skills to effectively connect with and build our loyal fan base.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Crafting messages that resonate with fans, responding to inquiries, and creating a strong connection between the brand and its audience.

  • Assist in creating a campaign calendar of competitions to engage fans and promote digital sign-ups, while supporting the development of innovative, interactive experiences and campaigns to keep fans excited.

  • Working with the design team to write briefs for creative campaign asset creation.

  • Staying at the forefront of 'best practice' in the industry, looking at what competitors and other entertainment properties are doing to engage fans to bring fresh new ideas to the fan engagement team.

  • Analysing data to understand what works and what doesn't, leading to more effective fan engagement activities.

  • Plan and execute engaging in-person and virtual events, while hosting fan forums to align team efforts with fans' desires and values.

Creativity & Event Management: Generate innovative ideas and engage fans in memorable experiences.

  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Quickly adapt to changes and effectively resolve issues.

  • Analytical Skills & Attention to Detail: Analyse fan engagement data and notice important details.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Support team objectives with a positive attitude.

  • Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with digital tools and technologies to enhance fan engagement.

  • Fan-Centric Mindset: Focus on understanding and meeting fans' needs and expectations.

Not only is this a fantastic role, but a chance to gain valuable skills, experience, and network with some of the industry's best!

  • A good salary is just the start; there are many other benefits too such as our bonus scheme, private health care cover, life assurance scheme, company contributed pension scheme, on site gym & fitness classes, daily food allowance, and a cycle to work scheme; but above all, the job satisfaction doesn't get any better than the feeling of making a real contribution to the function of our Grand Prix cars.
