Full Job Description

We are looking for a new Farm Instructor / Technician to work within our Farm team at Brinsbury College. If you have a passion for farming and passing knowledge and skills onto the next generation this would be the perfect role for you!

The Brinsbury Farm is situated on the estate that is spread across 540 acres.

It operates commercially with a milking parlour and a newly build state of the art cattle shed. Your work will vary to include working with our livestock, field and estate work, basic machinery operation and working with students.

You will hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Agriculture or a relevant subject area and a full UK driving licence. Industrial experience in Agriculture is also essential, along with knowledge of health and safety legislation.

The Brinsbury Farm operates for 52 weeks per year. Due to the nature of the industry and tasks to be completed you will be expected to work unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays as part of your role.
