Full Job Description

We have some exciting new opportunities within our Orcharding Team at our farms in Hereford . As a Craftsperson, you will be an integral part of our farm team and will be able to get involved in all aspects of cider apple production, producing some of our brilliant brands. This includes:

  • Keeping yourself and your team members safe
  • Mechanical and hand-pruning during the winter months
  • Spraying and fertiliser applications
  • Harvesting of fruit in a safe, efficient manner, ensuring productivity & quality goals are met
  • General maintenance work on our machinery
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and communicate any issues to direct supervisors and Farm Management
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, As part of the team, along with your salary you'll also receive;

    Some agricultural experience is preferred, however, what we really want are positive behaviours - so if you are keen to learn, reliable and hard-working, and happy to work with a variety of people as well as spending time on your own then this is the role for you!
  • While it is not essential the following are highly desirable:
  • Any agricultural experience
  • Basic maintenance skills
  • Gardening or landscaping
  • Experience driving a tractor
  • Experience using a variety of commercial farming equipment.
