Fastener Lead Engineer - Chassis

Reporting to the Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for you will play a crucial role in developing and refining the chassis and joints systems for whilst collaborating with our engineering team to design, test, and validate these systems to ensure we meet the highest standards of safety and performance. What you will do:

• Design and deliver ownership of Chassis Fasteners
• Support D&D to meet targets in terms of joint assessment based on hardpoints loads that invollves preload and slip calculations, strength & FOS assessment & package
• Experience in Chassis Suspension systems joints with variety of interfaces
• Define product technical specifications that meet vehicle system, manufacturing, service and quality targets
• Defining DVP to support track and rig tests
• Defining CAE and durability boundary conditions and targets
• Monitoring engineering completion (DFMEA progress, part releases and DVP status)
  
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in chassis and joints design for automotive applications.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles related to structural analysis and system integration.
• Proficient in using CAD software for designing and modeling chassis and joints systems.
• Experience in conducting advanced engineering analysis, such as finite element analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
