Full Job Description

Hands-on leader to assume management and P&L responsibility for the Jet Centre by Willis, at Teesside Airport. You will manage all aspects of the FBO including but not limited to: line operations, fuel sales, hangar sales, marketing, new business development, customer retention, quality control, security, and safety compliance. You will supervise the Operations Controllers and liaise with key members within the Willis group, for example, Quality/ Compliance manager, Ground Handling manager, HR, IT and Finance departments, whilst reporting directly to the VP Aircraft Operations. The position requires a minimum of three years relevant experience., Manage people and facilities in accordance with owner's policies and applicable laws and regulations. + Ensure all members of staff deliver first class customer service to FBO clients, operators and crew on a daily basis and offer concierge style services to assist with their travel and onward travel, + Oversee financial management of the FBO including P&L gross margins, capital expenditures, budgeting, forecasting, expense management, invoicing and cash collection. + Grow the revenues and profitability of the FBO + Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote the FBO's services and facilities. + Identify target markets and tailor marketing efforts to attract and retain customers. + Ensure consistent application of the FBO's brand image across all marketing materials and channels. + Maintain a high standard of brand representation in all interactions with clients and stakeholders. + Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitors. + Use insights from market research to inform marketing strategies and business decisions. + Design and implement promotional activities to drive customer engagement and sales. + Provide regular reports to senior management on marketing activities and outcomes. + Ensure employees receive company communications and necessary training to include safety, customer service standards, company values, etc. as well as ensuring training and development of employees to improve work performance and maximize employee potential. + Train and develop employees; conduct performance reviews; plan, assign rosters. Ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained. + Work with UK Border Force Agency and Special Branch as well as other such bodies and inform relevant parties of aircraft arrivals and departures. + From time to time undertake training courses which may be mandatory for operations or to assist and improve the operation. + "Hands-on" day-to-day management of all FBO operations. + "Hands-on" support for operations staff to ensure on-time operations.

+ Experience in a managerial role, demonstrating the ability to lead and develop a team. + Previous experience working in an FBO or aviation environment + Familiarity with relevant aviation regulations and standards. + Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. + Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction. + Experience in handling customer complaints and resolving issues effectively. + Experience in developing and managing departmental budgets and financial performance metrics. + Understanding of marketing principles, strategies and best practices. + Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. + Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, employees and stakeholders. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). + Must Hold a full UK driving license, ADP (Airport Driving Permit), maintain a Full CP (Critical Part) pass which is mandatory for airport access and to transport passengers and crew to and from the apron.
