FBP - Technology

Our small but dedicated Group Finance Team has a new vacancy opened up for an experienced Finance Business Partner for Technology to join on a Permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to provide strategic commercial support to the CTO & Technology function, drive financial performance and delivery against strategic priorities and contribute to ITV's profitability and sustainable growth overall.

The main areas of focus for a Technology Finance Business Partner at ITV are :

• Partner with CTO, Technology leadership team & Divisional Finance leadership to deliver best in class Technology Finance support across ITV Group


• Collaborate with the business with integrity, confidently challenge assumptions, and balance business needs with financial requirements


• Develop and maintain a strong business understanding, both of ITV's Strategy and financial objectives


• Provide regular insight, analysis and expertise for the Technology function in collaboration with FBP's across the business to drive insight and decision making across the group


• Strategic cost management, understanding and influencing key drivers, working with technology leaders to identify opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements


• Develop function plans, budgets and forecasts, exploring scenarios and options for driving improved outcomes / performance


• Review Group investments objectively and advise the Group Investment Committee. Review performance of approved investments and act as secretary for Group Investment Committee ensuring governance & compliance


• Understand Agile methodologies and support the development of financial outcomes of iterative development processes including development and tracking of KPI's
  
  ACA, ACCA, CIMA accountancy qualification required


• Extensive Technology Finance experience in dynamic global organisations


• Experience of partnering with CTO's, with an understanding and appreciation of current and emerging technology trends and their changing commercial models, and their related financial consideration


• Experience in supporting Tech projects such as Agile software delivery, Product development, SaaS, Cloud Technology, Digital transformation, Labour capitalization and cost transformation projects

• Experience working in TMT sector preferred


• Ability to operate in a Matrix / Virtual operation


• Experience working with international teams


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships with the business and across the Finance function


• Ability to influence decision-making among senior stakeholders, providing appropriate challenge
