Full Job Description

The post-holder will contribute to the ongoing design, development, and delivery of high-quality mental health simulation-based education (SBE) and other training courses at Maudsley Learning. This post would offer the post-holder the opportunity to develop innovations to support clinical education and workplace practice, to work indirectly in care delivery, and to gain an unrivalled educational experience at one of the world's most renowned mental healthcare organisations., The post-holder will work closely with the Simulation Clinical Lead for Maudsley Learning and Simulation faculty. The main duties of the post-holder will be to:
+ Design, develop and deliver both simulation-based education and other mental health training programmes and courses.
+ Evaluate the impact of courses and training programmes delivered, including presentation of results at relevant conferences and submission for publication.
+ Demonstrate high-quality academic writing skills to contribute to writing bids and reports of completed training projects.
+ Contribute to the development of the simulation team in line with their values, including attending relevant meetings and events.

In this post you will be joining the Faculty team within Maudsley Learning, who provide their subject matter expertise during the design and development stages of mental health courses. Additionally, Faculty are vital to the delivery of these courses, many of which are delivered at host organisations, and therefore working for this team is very dynamic, with opportunities to visit a variety of venues both inside and outside of the NHS.
