Full Job Description

To support the age group lead coach to deliver sessions within the female pathway in line with technical frameworks. - To support the age group lead coach to monitor players progress and assess ability to progress through the pathway. This includes helping to write a termly report. - To attend CPD to ensure personal development and maintain a high standard of delivery. - To support the age group lead coach to lead teams in school holidays during our 'games day' programme. - To be part of our talent identification process at either scheduled 'Talent ID Days' or as part of our network of 'Satellite Clubs' - To follow the Trust's Safeguarding and EDI policies and procedures, with the welfare of Children, young people and vulnerable adults being of paramount importance. - To uphold the Trust's Sustainability Policy and make every effort to make good sustainable choices (outlined in the policy). - To positively promote Reading Football Club and its activities to a wide range of different communities and groups. - Opportunities to deliver across multiple programmes in the Trust beyond this role. Opportunities for additional volunteer roles within our female pathway as an assistant, observing and supporting at our Emerging Talent Centre and Academy Teams. Main Duties: - Plan and deliver weekly coaching sessions. - Take attendance of group and ensure the centres procedures are followed. - Administer first aid if required and report any safeguarding concerns where necessary via the community trusts reporting process. - Liase with parents and signpost any unresolved issues to the PCDL. - To attend and lead teams at games days - To maintain and follow Reading Football Club Community Trust's policies and procedures (including but not limited to Safeguarding (Child Protection), Health, Safety, Equal Opportunity, Data Protection and Mental Health and Wellbeing). - Ensure your DBS remains up to date by renewing it every 3 years, as well as ensuring all training requirements for your role are up to date. - To act in a manner that always supports the Club's Vision and Values, representing the Trust in a professional manner. - To adhere to a strict code of confidentiality in respect of any information relating to Reading Football Club and its operation. - To be always presentable when working and demonstrate that you can represent the face of the club in the manner expected., As this role requires travel to various sites across Reading and Berkshire, the applicant must have full driving licence and access to a car.   • - Level 1/Introduction to Coaching Football (Football) - FA Safeguarding - FA Emergency Aid - DBS Desirable: - Level 2/UEFA C (Football) - Talent ID Qualification (FA Preferred) - FA Goalkeeping qualification (Level 1/2/B/National Award) - Mental health first aid qualification Experience: Essential: - Working with young players in a team or development centre environment for a minimum of 1 year. - An understanding of the challenges faced by female athletes. Desirable: - Experience as a coach or player of the women's game (adult or junior) - Experience delivering or incorporating elements of GK specific practice. - Experience of utilising Talent ID with a role. Skills: - Good communication and organisation skills - Behaviour management - Ability to work on your own or part of a team - To be able to support other staff members - A drive to learn and self improve, with evidence of efforts to do so - Have access to a car to travel to and from sites Attitude: Essential: - Adaptability - Positive and proactive - Punctual - Problem solving Desirable: - A passion for Reading Football Club - A drive to build and inspire the female game.

    £15 to £20 per session depending on experience Hours Casual Hours Contract (Casual Contract)
