Full Job Description

I am seeking a compassionate and reliable female carer/personal assistant to provide support for a 41-year-old woman with a spinal injury (currently awaiting surgery). This role involves assisting with daily tasks to help maintain a smooth-running home and providing essential care.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • - General household tasks, including cleaning, washing, ironing, and meal preparation. - Assisting with shopping and errands. - Driving to and from medical appointments (a full UK driving licence is essential). - Assisting with hair washing and drying. - Caring for friendly cats, including feeding and general care. - Providing some personal care, with potential additional support needed after surgery.

    A caring and patient nature. - Must be reliable, trustworthy, good sense of humour and able to work independently. - Driver with access to a vehicle (mileage will be paid). - Comfortable with cats and in a pet-friendly home. - Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. - The role will involve lifting/moving mobility equipment in and out of the car, etc. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in someone's daily life while working in a warm and friendly environment.
