Full Job Description

We are seeking a personal assistant/support worker to work with a 24 year old lady with autism in the Llandudno Junction area. You will be required to support with some personal care, eating and drinking, paying due attention to any dietary requirements and interact with the lady through games, toys, music, songs, reading and other stimulating activities. Experience of working with people with autism desirable, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn is also acceptable, as training will be given.

Responsible to: You will be directly responsible to your employers, the lady's parents

Main Tasks:

Assistance with personal care i.e. washing, dressing and assistance with feeding; paying due attention to any dietary requirements.

PA to encourage interaction, communication and motivation during play times through the aid of games, toys, music, songs, reading and other stimulating activities.

To ensure a clean and safe environment, giving due regard to Health and Safety at all times
