Full Job Description
I am a highly independent, bright, and friendly lady, looking for a reliable, like minded female personal assistant to assist me with personal care tasks and some general household duties. I am ambulant but struggle with day-to-day tasks. I enjoy the natural world and also have a keen interest in current affairs. Duties include: Medication prompting/administering Other relevant duties as required Administration Housekeeping Shopping Gardening Dressing / undressing Laundry Changing and making bed linen Minor household maintenance e.g. changing light bulbs, taking down curtains for washing Taking out rubbish Assistance with food prep Supervision and/or assistance with showering, hair washing /drying as required Help getting into and out of bath/shower as required To be on call when employer takes bath Assistance with applying creams Help to remind me to take my medication and drink water Accompany employer to doctors / hospital appointments when required, Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours Notes: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required. Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.

Hours per week: 2 hour shift, 1-2 days per week (morning shifts are preferable, but can be flexible). Hourly pay rate: £12 per hour. Enhanced rate £13 per hour. Mileage paid at 40p a mile
