Full Job Description

I am looking for a Personal Assistant / Carer to join my daughter's support team. As a young woman in her twenties with numerous complex health needs, ideally you will have experience of supporting someone and promoting independence both within her home environment, days out and in a day centre setting. At times you may be required to provide support on a 2 : 1 basis.

  • Standard rate starting from £10.50 per hour, enhanced rate £11.00 per hour
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave per year pro rata
  • Full certificated training on all aspects of the role
    • Hours available :
  • A variety of full and part time hours available, covering shifts of 4 - 10 hours. 1 : 1 support is required over 24 / 7 period and 2 : 1 is generally required between 4.30pm - 10pm.
  • There is the opportunity to work additional hours on occasions in relation to holidays and sickness.
    • What's Required :
  • Provide assistance with all aspects of personal care, such as bathing, washing hair and dressing
  • A full driving licence is desirable but not essential, vehicle insurance only covers drivers over 25 years old
  • Flexibility in working hours essential, night shifts may also be required
  • An enhanced DBS check, the cost will be met by the Employer
