Female Support Assistant D636

A female Support Assistant to support a visually impaired lady who is registered blind for 14 hours per week.

The 14 hours per week are to be split into 2-3 shifts per week, 3 hours on a Wednesday Evening (7 pm-10 pm), the remaining hours will be daytime hours to be arranged at interview level.

The Wednesday evening hours will be as a companion/support and the daytime hours are to support the lady with some light domestic duties, to drive and support the lady her shopping and to attend various activities and interests.

Calm, gentle & patient

Aware of first aid in case of seizures or other neurological emergencies

Previously been a nurse

Must have access to car with a clean UK driving licence., Visually impaired: 1 year (preferred)
Medical /Seizures: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)

Please note: As the lady is visually impaired, please make allowances that eye contact is not always possible.

The rate of pay is £14.30 per hour.

A DBS is required for this position.
