Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Full-Time FEMALE Support Workers to work with a young woman with a Brain Injury. This young lady is non-verbal and uses eye-gaze and she also has Crohn's Disease. She lives with her parents in their family home in the Chester area. A Full Driving Licence Essential - One which enables you to drive a manual car. About You You will be friendly, approachable, reliable, and trustworthy and you will work well as part of a team, but also able to use your own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills both verbally and written. You will be observant, sensitive, and considerate. You will enjoy being active and assisting this young lady in her many interests. Previous experience and the ability to understand and deal with complex needs is desirable. Being registered on the DBS update service would be beneficial but not essential. The shift times are as follows: You will work on a rota basis, including weekdays and weekends to cover day shifts, waking night shifts and sleep shifts.

  • Day Shift: 8.00am till 8.00pm
  • Waking Night Shift: 8.00pm till 8.00am
  • Sleep Shift: 8.00pm till 8.00am

    GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Home care: 1 year (preferred)

    Rates of Pay: Up to £17.00 per hour upon successful completion of competencies and training.
