Full Job Description
I am a 40-year-old young lady looking for carers to assist me with outings and activities within the home. Having Cerebral Palsy, I require assistance with all my care needs. The role will cover aiding me with going out to my groups, cinema and just out and about. Within the home I like being active with arts and crafts and going on my computer. Some personal care will be required. Hoisting will be required Training will be provided for the role as required Employer is available to support and assist as required Duties include: Medication prompting/administering Personal grooming Eating and drinking assistance Moving and handling Clinical tasks Other relevant duties as required Transportation Companionship Dressing / undressing Bathroom assistance Candidate qualities: Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality, Washing and bathing - towelling dry/ drying hair Help getting into and out of bath using hoist, training will be given Applying cream if needed General hair/skin care Dressing and undressing/ helping with buttons and fastenings Support to go to the toilet Assistance with PEG feeding Any other reasonable task Social: Support to get out and about; This may be to meet friends, go for a walk etc Support to access art and craft activities Additional requirements Non-smoker due to medical reasons Notes: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.
