Female Support Worker / Personal Assistant / Driver

I am looking for 2 x personal assistants to join our team of PA's to support my family, you will be working within a family home and within the community supporting young adults with autism., Personal care: There are aspects of personal care involved in this role, all training will be provided.
Domestic Care: Light household tasks and maintaining a family home e.g. laundry, vacuuming and washing up.
Community: Support with medical appointments, meetings, transporting the young adults to and from their social activities and support with volunteering.

You will be expected to carry out any other duties or activities connected with the role which the representative may reasonably request.

An ability to enable young adults to maximise their life skills and life experiences.

An ability to adapt to different situations

You must be a team player, with excellent communication skills and a keen sense of personal responsibility

You will need to have a working knowledge of autism

You will need to be calm in a crisis and be able to motivate young adults

A good sense of fun and humour

A willingness to undergo any training offered

Have a full driving licence, business class insurance and own transport

The post carries a 6 month probationary period.

A Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and two satisfactory references are conditional for the post. This is a free and confidential process.
