Female Support Worker UK driving licence required Full and part time hours available Our two York service assists clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We require enthusiastic, caring individuals to take our clients out bowling, shopping and to the cinema. We have a variety of shifts including days, nights, and sleep overs. Our Tennyson Avenue service is supported living for vulnerable homeless men, supporting the gentleman for 5 hours which is flexibly used to support with appointments and activities they might me interested in. As a Support Worker, you will provide high quality care and support to our clients to enable them to live their best life. You will be passionate in making a difference to our client's lives, helping them to fulfil their aspirations and ambitions. These homely services are set in York, we require a valid UK driving license for this role. This role can be located in one or both services on a part-time or fulltime basis., Person Centred - Prepare person-centred support plans with clients which reflect their views and aspirations and respect their beliefs and opinions, reviewing and amending them as necessary and considering the client's changing needs and wishes. Respectful - Support clients to fulfil their aspirations, supporting them to live as independently as possible, in accordance with their skills and abilities. This may include accompanying them on social visits and events, supporting them with their interests and hobbies, promoting choice, arranging activities and outings, and developing their skills and knowledge. Open - Communicate in an open and transparent way with clients and other team members, acting with integrity and doing what you say that you will do. Understanding - Where required you may be asked to provide personal care to clients in a way that respects their choices and dignity. This can include assistance with washing and toileting. Dedicated - Keep appropriate, accurate records, including daily notes, with full involvement of the client.
