As part of the recruitment process for this post, candidates will be required to complete an online literacy and numeracy test and only if they pass this, will they be invited to a formal interview.
The postholder will support the Fetal Medicine Team during clinics in performing tasks like urinalysys, vital signs, and tyding up the rooms ready for the next clients to maintain and deliver high quality care to clients and their families. The postholder is key in ensuring good communication with women and their families, prompt escalation of concerns to the allocated midwife or ward managers to ensure and maintain safety of clients, families, and the clinical area.
We have a state of the art simulation centre to support high fidelity multi-disciplinary obstetric emergency training, as well as a bespoke and comprehensive in-service education programme. At Barts health we are committed to equal opportunities.
The band 2 MCA Fetal Medicine Unit post is suitable for those healthcare professionals who have an experience of working in an acute 'care' environment and those who want to consolidate their training and gain experience and skills in this clinical setting.
