Field Operator

The purpose of the role is to safely operate the plant within the Refining Area ensuring qualitative and quantitative production targets are met in a compliant manner. Location - Thames Refinery Hours - Shift work, Days & Nights. 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 8 off. What will you be doing:

• Ensuring compliance is maintained towards all aspects.
• To be aware of, and operate processing plant to the required safety, environmental, quality, hygiene and output standards liaising with process team.
• To utilise knowledge and experience to solve problems as they occur, using judgement to call for more expert assistance as required.
• To undertake Quality control analysis as appropriate and compare results against the specified process parameters. To adjust plant and processing conditions when appropriate to ensure specification conformity is maintained.
• To maintain clear and concise communications (verbal, written and electronic), in the form of shift logs together with safety, environment, quality and hygiene records.
