Field Sales Consultant

LOCALiQ, a digital media and advertising agency within the Newsquest media group, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Sales Consultant to join our Cornwall commercial team. It’s the perfect time to become part of our journey. Representing the Falmouth Packet and other regional titles, you will work at the heart of the community, collaborating with the region’s businesses to provide solutions for their advertising and marketing needs. You will be working in the field visiting and prospecting new and existing clients so access to a vehicle and a valid driving licence is essential for the role.

The commission scheme is uncapped so the sky’s the limit with earning potential, however you can expect an OTE of around £32,000 in year one, with expected year on year growth as you build your book of clients. To be successful in this role, you should:

• Be driven by targets and KPIs and able to provide excellent customer service.
• Have a proven background in digital marketing
• Can develop new business
• Be goal-orientated and driven to succeed.
• Ideally, be experienced in advertising or digital media sales, but this is not essential.
• Able to carry out consultative client meetings both in-person and via video
• Able to work on your own initiative
• Able to work both out on the field, from our office in Falmouth and remotely from home
