We are committed to meeting the dynamic needs of fleet operators and vehicle equipment providers. The Role: What You'll Do

  • Attend service and installation calls within agreed timescales, ensuring top-notch service delivery.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to our field deployment team.
  • Use your knowledge of telematics and other ancillary equipment to deliver high-quality installations.
  • Utilize a laptop/iPad for reporting and documenting installation data.
  • Mentor apprentices (desirable), helping to shape the next generation of engineers.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to maintain and enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies, ensuring best practices are followed at all times.
  • Be the face of Nationwide Fleet Installations, serving as the first point of contact for our valued customers.
  • Maintain company equipment, including stock, consumables, and vehicles, with exceptional organizational skills. Your responsibilities will include installing and maintaining

    Experience in field-based installations and service engineering
  • Expertise in installing telematics and aftermarket equipment to the highest standards
  • Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Experience in a field-based customer service environment
  • Proficiency with digital multi-meters and test equipment
  • Knowledge of current legislation and industry standards related to vehicle installations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent soldering skills
