Full Job Description

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Proactively scheduling the field service team to deliver an efficient and focused solution for service.
  • Scheduling preventive maintenance visits and breakdowns for the field service team to ensure that their time is managed efficiently maintaining a high level of utilized hours.
  • Striving to achieve a common goal of customer service excellence.
  • Identifying and communicating with all key personnel with respect to service & repair including Clinical engineering, device management departments, department heads, clinicians etc.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and client to ensure that the customer experience is exemplary.

    Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in all Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Experience in QMS
  • Sound geographical knowledge of the UK and Ireland utilizing route planning software to limit travel time
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, demonstrate initiative and contribution to process improvement
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Customer focused and dedicated to building long term relationships and exceeding expectations
  • Knowledge of SAP, Service Max and power BI is an advantage.

A Day in the Life The Service & Repair department is a growing organization of 300 people across EMEA and is part of the Customer Care & Supply Chain organization of Medtronic. Processing over 10,000 routine maintenance and breakdown requests per annum in the UK and Ireland alone, we are looking for a Field Service Planner to co-ordinate the field service engineers and assist in planning their schedules. Your primary focus will be proactively scheduling the field service team to deliver a premium service across a wide range of products to meet the demands of our customers and the sales force.
