Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Field Services Coordinator to join our Field Services Team, based at our site Tram Inn Mill.

The role is office based, with occasional working in the stores, plus occasional visits to customers and suppliers.

As a Field Service Coordinator, you'll be working 08:00 - 16:30 - Monday - Friday

What will you be doing as a Field Service Coordinator at Avara?

As a Field Services Coordinator you be supporting the Field Services Manager in delivering the requirements of the Field Services Department and to deputise in their absence. The department supplies farms (contract producers and internal farms) with chemical products, vaccines, animal health products, PPE, workwear, and many other day to day items. The coordinator will be responsible for dealing with suppliers and customers (face to face and over the phone) and as well as developing and building those relationships and the internal team around them. This role will be responsible for the administration of the department and includes taking responsibility for the day-to-day function of the department on a regular basis.

What will your key responsibilities as Field Service Coordinator include?

  • Liaising with Farm Management, employees, and contract producers to establish and confirm orders, book in deliveries, credit card transactions and booking out of sales orders. This includes customer interaction over the phone or face to face.

  • Develop customer relationships and add to the customer portfolio.

  • Develop Supplier relationships.

  • Picking orders for the following days delivery.

  • Complete audits and rectify non-conformances and complying to all chemical handling, safety systems and procedures.

  • Be a competent and accurate user of the Oracle ERP system which will includes stock taking and data entry.

  • Cover in Manager's absence, including deputising the supervision of the driver.

    Are you passionate about building customer relationships? Looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience working with ADR transportation? Or have experience of Agriculture Livestock production?, Excellent communication skills and confidence to talk to people. (Essential)

  • Excellent administration skills with a high attention to detail. (Essential)

  • Previous experience working in a similar role/environment. (Essential)

  • Experience working with ADR transportation. (Desirable)

  • Experience of Agricultural livestock production. (Desirable)

  • Experience of retail sales. (Desirable)

  • Experience of managing a small team. (Desirable)

  • Knowledge of HGV licences (Desirable).

  • High Attention to Detail/from a stock background
