Field Technician

Hydro International - Data Insights & Analysis ltd, (formally Hydro-logic Services) a CRH Company, is a leading UK provider of advanced data services and expertise to help municipal, industrial and construction customers to improve their water management processes, increase operational performance, and reduce environmental impact. Hydro International -Data Insights and Analysis has been operating in the UK for around 40 years and undertakes data analysis and collection for a variety of customers nationwide. We compile, quality assure and issue data reports to clients relating to water levels, water quality and discharge. We operate and maintain the Hydro-Logic® Flexi Logger 105 equipment installed at around 1,400 sites across the country. We offer services to major clients as well as smaller local authorities and parish councils when needed. Hydrometry and monitoring team The role involves visiting various sites, primarily undertaking field measurements of water quantity (flow), depth, quality, rainfall etc. Additionally, responsibilities include the installing, operating, and maintaining of telemetry logging equipment.

A passion for working outdoors in all weathers conditions - Comfortable working in water, strong swimming skills - Confidence in working at heights, such as using ladders, and ease in working within confined spaces. - Good level of computer literacy (MS Office applications - Word, Excel) - Possession of a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant environmental field (e.g., Environmental Science, Geography, Geology, etc.) - Demonstrates awareness of potential risks and safety protocols - Experienced in hands-on tasks, including use of power and hand tools - Willing to travel as required - Possess a valid UK driver's license for 12 months +
