Full Job Description

KDN process improvements: assist with conducting key activities review and identifying process deficiencies; work to implement process changes focusing on improving accuracy and consistency in targeted areas, and helping business achieve its organizational goals Financial Reporting: support with regulatory and management reporting for both consolidating and subsidiary entities; preparing financial statements, research relating to disclosure requirements and analysis of competitor disclosure; preparing consolidation workbook - Year-end audits: Support annual statutory and internal audits of all KDN entities, including but not limited to PBC preparation and review; co-ordinating with auditors to address queries and serving as a subject matter expert for complex technical accounting; tracking and ensuring audit timelines are met. - Financial Accounting: assist with the analysis of legal agreements to ensure alignment with accounting policies; ad hoc technical accounting research; preparation of technical accounting memos; review of significant supplier agreements to ensure compliance and appropriate accounting - Year-end and month end activities: support with creation and review of all Balance Sheet reconciliations; review of high value journal entries and inter-company reconciliations. - Routine maintenance of IFRS 16 and 9: Assessment, calculations (including ECL calculations) and supporting documentation related to new leases and loans which are entered into and provided respectively. - Review loan and financing agreements: Assess agreements to determine accounting based on IFRS 9 and identify clauses which require rework or further discussion. - Other ad hoc projects: other finance operating tasks will be assigned from time to time, for example review and reporting of vendors and customers transactions; monitoring of KPI for accounting and controlling team

  • Undergraduate degree in business or finance or accounting
  • Holds CPA or similar Accounting Qualification
  • Expereince of IFRS Financial Statements
  • Significant level of experience in finance operations financial reporting experience preferably in a large multinational environment
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with a mindset for continuous improvement
  • Advance Excel skills
