Finance Advisor

Laidlaw Schools Trust is looking to recruit a Finance Advisor to join their Central Finance Department on a full-time permanent contract basis. The role would be part of a team of seven based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Finance Advisor will be responsible for supporting the Finance Business Partners in delivering comprehensive financial management support to LST Academies and LST Central functions.

The role will be an integral part of the Finance Team providing a reliable and responsive management and financial accounting service to ensure the provision of high-quality financial advice and information to a variety of staff both within and outside of the Trust, and at different levels. They will also provide an accurate and timely service to both internal and external customers for the Trust.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a finance or accounting role, with exposure to key financial processes. The ability to accurately process and evaluate large volumes of financial information is essential along with strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy., We are an equal opportunities employer strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
