Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join the Boots UK Finance team as Senior Finance Analyst - Pharmacy FP&A. As part of the Pharmacy FP&A team you will be crucial for providing clear, high-quality reporting, analysis, and insight to the business and central FP&A to ensure clarity and alignment of in year performance, financial forecasts, and budgets. You will report directly to the Finance Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis for Pharmacy.,

  • Develop strong working relationships with the Pharmacy business teams.
  • Support the financial planning processes (in year performance, financial forecasts, and budget) for Pharmacy in a collaborative manner seeking input and engaging wider FP&A, business partners and financial control teams to ensure rigorous and robust financial planning.
  • Manage the weekly and monthly performance reporting and driving for continuous improvement of output, ensuring the business understands and has clarity on its performance.
  • Manage SG&A processes and reporting to ensure clear understanding across the business and central FP&A on key drivers and continually looking at efficiencies.
  • Assist in development of TM1 for future Pharmacy reporting.
  • Act as a link between various Finance functions - i.e., Financial Control, Central FP&A, Stores Finance and Transformation to close month end in a timely manner with clear articulation of performance across Pharmacy and Pharmacy Operations SG&A.
  • Quarterly reporting, providing insight into performance, a lot of emphasis on pharmacy and critical clarity is provided for the external announcements.
  • Review weekly reporting across Pharmacy, ensuring outputs are delivered to stakeholders and to a high standard.
  • Provide adhoc analysis across Pharmacy where required.

    Have experience in finance and either be qualified or studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills combined with commercial acumen to generate insight from various data sources.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, being able to manipulate data in different formats and ability to present data clearly at the right level of detail.
