Full Job Description

Our finance function seeks two Finance Analyst Industrial Placement students for a 12-month opportunity. This is your chance to dive deep into our Finance department and understand how crucial it is to support Aston Martin's business objectives and overall strategy. What You'll Do:

  • Data Manipulation & Analysis: Use your analytical skills to manipulate and analyse data effectively, communicating insights to various stakeholders across the business.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with key support functions such as IT, Legal, HR, and others to understand and assess the financial impacts of business decisions.
  • Project Ownership: Contribute to crucial projects both individually and as part of a larger team, tackling intellectually challenging problems that drive real impact.
  • Rotate through multiple teams: For a well-rounded experience, spend time with other Finance departments
  • Financial Planning & Control: Learn how to develop and apply financial models while gaining practical experience with business tools such as Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • Teamwork Development: Enhance your collaboration skills through cross-functional teamwork and gain valuable insights into the automotive business process and its finance role.

    Students returning to their final year of study after this placement.
  • Education: University students pursuing finance or finance-related degrees.
  • Passion & Achievement: Evidence of passion and achievements in academic or non-academic activities.
  • Career Commitment: Aspiration to pursue a recognised accounting qualification and a career in Finance.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical abilities coupled with an analytical mindset.

  • Salary: £24,400 per annum.
  • Annual leave: 26 days + bank holidays.
