Full Job Description

  • Supporting our Accounts Payable Team with inbound invoices, with a key role in the full process from Purchase Order to payment, investigating any issues internally and with suppliers

  • Preparing weekly payment runs

  • Reconciling cash receipts from our customers and invoices we raise

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts to include processing journals and posting invoices, and putting together commentary on the results; telling the story of our numbers

  • Training new starters and leading refreshers on Finance processes such as PO process, expense claims, and Netsuite (our ERP system).

  • Performing our bank reconciliation and helping protect our cash

  • Assisting in the management of our company credit cards and reconciling the expenses, working with the business to ensure clear records

  • Providing administrative support to the Finance Team, assisting supplier onboarding

  • Communicating internally and externally with suppliers to ensure this is as smooth as possible

  • Attending monthly business partnering meetings and supporting financial analysis

  • Autonomously exploring ways to develop and enhance the quality of our work and bring efficiencies, whether this be introducing new software, use of AI or introducing new processes

  • Present work you have delivered to the wider finance team

  • Experience in finance would be beneficial but is not essential

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel

  • Commitment to the Level 3 Apprenticeship for a minimum of 18 months


  • Qualifications

    GCSE or equivalent English (Grade C/4 minimum) essential

    GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade C/4 minimum) essential
