This is an exciting time to be joining our Multi Academy Trust. We operate from a Head Office in Ashfield with 9 schools in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire along the M1 corridor. We have experienced a period of rapid growth over the last few years and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Finance Team. As a Finance Assistant to a cluster of schools, this role is responsible for providing an accurate Purchase, Sales and General Ledger. The person: The ideal candidate will be qualified or in the final stage of completing a bookkeeping qualification (AAT). Knowledge of accounting standards within the sector and an understanding of the Academies Financial Handbook would be beneficial. To secure this role you will need to be able to demonstrate attention to detail, excellent time management, analytical thinking to analyse financial data and an ability to coach and develop both finance and non-finance colleagues.
