Full Job Description
- Ensure all ledger accounts are promptly and accurately maintained. Including daily banking, accurately coding and posting income to accounts systems. Post cash receipts, and banking sheets regularly
- Responsible for Accounts Receivable month-end tasks to ensure ledgers close
- Collate orders, delivery notes, parts receipted reports and invoices ensuring each invoice is authorised by the correct person. Participate in monthly vehicle stock checks and stock reconciliation
- Review debtor ledgers on a timely basis and report on consolidated Group Debtor reports. All cash and vehicle account debt must be cleared within 3 days
- Prepare, daily, weekly and monthly financial reports
- Ensure payments on account are reviewed and cleared promptly, investigating all discrepancies. Work closely with sales/service/parts/admin to investigate any discrepancies
- Take prompt action to customer or internal questions or queries
- Ad hoc administration when required
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an Accounts Department, - Thorough understanding or Excel
- Impeccable attention to detail, with strong organisation and communication skills
- Experience from within the automotive sector with knowledge of Keyloop, Drive or the previous Kerridge version would be an advantage
- Ability to work to deadlines
