Full Job Description

  • Accurate data entry.
  • Process supplier invoices using 3-way match & checking nominal & VAT coding.
  • Obtain appropriate approval for non-PO invoices and process.
  • Ensure purchase returns and supplier queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Process supplier payment runs.
  • Checking and signing off wages.
  • Covering payroll for salaries when FC is on holiday.
  • Upkeep of Fixed Asset Register.
  • Upkeep of prepayments and accruals.
  • Confirm AR IC balances at month end.
  • Internal auditing (training will be provided).
  • IC recharges.
  • National Statistics/ONIS reports.
  • Monthly stock reconciliations.
  • Support in preparing monthly management accounts.
  • Support annual audit process.
  • Administrative support to other finance functions where necessary.
  • Performance Indicators:
  • Adherence to control procedures and segregation of duties practice.
  • Good housekeeping.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of purchase invoice / month end deadlines.
  • Adherence to agreed procedures.

    Good analytical maths.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organised.
  • Good communication skills bother verbal and written.
  • Good IT skills.
  • AAT Level 3 and above qualified.
  • Minimum 2 years purchase ledger experience.
  • Excellent communication skills essential.
  • Reliable and flexible with a strong work ethic.
  • Able to effectively prioritise and adapt to a varied and changeable workload.
  • Punctual, presentable and with good attendance.
  • Will be working under a very fast paced environment so you must be experienced in dealing with pressure and be highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
