Finance Assistant

ADL is a healthcare company who own and operate 21 care homes throughout the country. They are now seeking to recruit a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join the finance team. The ideal candidate will support the financial operations of the organisation by assisting with various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department. This role is essential for maintaining smooth financial processes and providing valuable insights to management., Assist in the processing of monthly bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate journals for Payroll, PAYE, Pension Controls.

- Entering Pre-payments and accruals

- Collation of financial information for the completion of monthly management accounts
- Liaise with internal departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.

The successful candidate should have a proven background of working in finance and have a good knowledge of accounting practices, ideally holding an accounting qualification., Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data entry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Quickbooks
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
