Full Job Description
Financial Management
- Input orders and invoices into the finance system
- Manage petty cash and process staff expense claims
- Handle credit card transactions and assist with accounts receivable, including raising invoices, chasing outstanding payments and reconciling payments Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Provide regular and timely cost centre reports
- Assist with month-end reviews of outstanding orders and reconciliations
- Prepare schedules and undertake general finance admin duties Liaison and Communication
- Work internally with our schools and staff and with external agencies to manage financial queries and transactions
- Liaise with schools regarding trips, Peri Music, events, and charity monies collection and banking Administration and Compliance
- Handle day-to-day finance admin tasks, including document management and ensuring GDPR compliance
- Assist with the security of all cash held in schools
- Annually prepare bulk requisitions for expected budget costs such as phones and utilities
- Deputise for the Finance Officer if required

- Working knowledge of IT packages for statistical and financial data presentation
- Experience in a local government financial environment
- Knowledge of education finance software
