Full Job Description

Working as part of the Trust's Financial Accounts team the post holder will be responsible for supporting the Deputy Chief Accountant - Transactions in contributing to the performance of their areas of responsibility. This will include producing a range of balance sheet reconciliations, support with the outsourced service providers and assisting with the Trust's VAT returns.
Ensure their key areas/tasks run as efficiently and effectively as possible ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered to the Trust at all times. Ensuring Standing Financial Instructions, best accounting practice and other statutory legislation is adhered to.
The post holder will be required to support reviews of financial systems, financial controls and processes by internal and external audit and act on their recommendations
The role consists of hybrid working both at home and in the office.
