Full Job Description

Turner & Townsend alinea are seeking a Finance Assistant to support their delivery of works for one of the company's global key clients. The role sits within a fast-moving vibrant team that provide support to a range of projects and joint ventures. The individual will be a self-starter, who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders and brings financial administration experience and excel capability.,

  • Based on site (in Cambridge) a minimum of 3 days / week
  • Working in client's IT systems, SAP, Coupa etc.
  • Raising and managing Purchase Orders across multiple contracts
  • Managing Invoice approvals and reviewing against POs
  • Completing Value of Work Done month end reporting, comparing actuals to forecast
  • Monitoring spend against cashflow forecasts for each project
  • General admin support of our site based team
  • REPORTING This role reports to the Site based lead day to day and ultimately the Cambridge Cost Centre Lead. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
  • Reliable site presence is required.
  • Key information and data are accurately maintained.
  • A can do attitude, willing to learn and loving a challenge.
  • Promote and encourage positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; including project teams, clients and suppliers.
  • Strong work ethic and adaptable

    Experience within an equivalent Finance role (Preferred but not essential )
  • Experienced and confident in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 experience is a plus
  • Experience of Coupa and SAP would be beneficial
  • Analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Good organisation skills that promote prioritising and meeting deadlines
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Experience in administrating large amounts of financial data
