Full Job Description
Your mission will be to become an expert in all things Accounts Payable at A&M and play a crucial role in controlling and reporting on costs.,
- Support our internal AP process by making sure all invoices are correctly recorded and approved through our AP system
- Complete all bank account reconciliations so that we can report accurately on cash positions
- Prepare weekly payment runs to ensure suppliers are paid within their payment terms
- Provide training and guidance to the wider business on how to use our AP system
- Be a key point of contact for all things AP, supporting the team and ensuring processes are effective as the business grows
- Collaboration with our accounting team to complete monthly reporting requirements. For example:
- Support with accruals and prepayments
- Support with accurate preparation of fixed asset registers
- Support with balance sheet and cashflow reporting
Previous AP experience is essential - Intermediate Excel skills
