Full Job Description
The Kids & Family (K&F) Production team have an ambitious growth plan and are looking to add a Finance Analyst on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract who can support this growth by providing financial analysis and rigour. The role will work closely with Production Accountants and Business Partners to ensure accurate forecasts are provided on a timely basis. The role will also work closely with the Management Accountants to support on the smooth delivery of period end close.,
- Via regular engagement with the K&F Leadership Team, develop relationships which allows for providing support to all aspects of the annual budget, forecast and long term planning processes.
- Ensure all planning processes are submitted in a timely manner whilst also implementing improvements.
- Produce ad hoc and routine analysis to a high standard, including recommendations and alignment to business strategy
- Work closely with the Management Accountants to ensure accurate period end close including compliance with group controls framework Relationships The K&F Finance Analyst will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including
- Key business stakeholders
- Production Accounting team
- Business Partners
- Management Accountants
- Wider Production Finance Team
A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or similar) or working towards a professional qualification with proven experience as a Finance Analyst or Management Accountant in a commercial business environment; - Strong numerical and analytical skills reflecting an ability to manipulate and interpret data, to provide meaningful and useful analysis for decision making purposes;
- Proactive and self-motivated with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities against conflicting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel and advanced modelling skills with the ability to create financial models;
- Experience of period end close and associated controls;
- Confident team player with strong influencing, facilitation and communication skills; DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- Experience of forecasting & reporting in a large group company;
- A strong working knowledge of SAP
