Full Job Description

We are working with an international bank who are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their London team. In this role you will work to support the banks central functions by delivering impactful commercial insights to help achieve strategic objectives. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who is passionate about driving business performance through effective cost management and looking for a role where no two days are the same.,

  • Financial Forecasting: Collaborate closely with business units to produce detailed cost and headcount forecasts. Translate the business strategy into comprehensive financial plans that support operational efficiency and growth.

  • Variance Analysis: Provide clear explanations for cost variances against plans by developing a deep understanding of business operations and cost drivers. Use this insight to recommend corrective actions and continuous improvements.

  • Performance Optimization:Work closely with the business to optimize operations, drive financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies. Implement new processes as the business evolves to ensure continued financial success.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the business. Act as a trusted advisor by providing independent review and challenge, ensuring financial decisions align with the company's strategic goals.

  • Presentation & Reporting: Develop and present concise and impactful financial information to a range of stakeholders, contributing to Executive Committee and Board presentations.

    Proven Experience: Cost Business Partnering role, with a track record of successfully supporting business units in financial planning and analysis.

  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to build and nurture meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders while providing objective review and challenge.

  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear and concise insights.

  • Analytical Skills: Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Proactive & Independent: A self-motivated team player who is proactive, able to take initiative, and comfortable formulating ideas and opinions independently.

  • Agile Environment: Experience in a fast-paced, environment with a focus on continuous improvement, process optimization, and the ability to implement new processes as needed.
