Job Title - Finance Business Partner Job Location - Bristol, UK We can offer hybrid working pattern, with time in our offices and your home, to enable a good work-life balance. We do require you to be on-site 60% of the time across the month (3 days per week on average). L3Harris MAPPS (Bristol, Burgess Hill and Barrow-in-Furness) provides an Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) for the Royal Navy sub-surface and surface fleets, notably current Astute submarine and Queen Elizabeth Class (QEC) aircraft carriers, in-build Type 26 and Type 31 frigates. This software provides integrated monitoring and control of ship propulsion, electrical functions, auxiliaries and damage control machinery and systems. A few of our employee benefits

  • What the role will involve The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
  • Generate financial reporting packages and provide counsel to program managers on variances
  • Baseline development and maintenance, performance management and estimate at complete development and analysis
  • Implement, monitor, report and analyse program budget and/or schedule
  • Perform earned value management including implementation, maintenance, reporting and analysis
  • Organise cost and/or schedule date for monthly program reviews
  • Prepare and monitor funding plans labour and subcontract/material/ODC forecast plans
  • Complete analyse date for monthly forecast review including orders, sales, operating income and cash
  • Prepare ETC/EAC estimates from program staff input
  • Participate in presentations and group discussions at internal and external financial / schedule meetings
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the organisation to maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Perform other duties as required
  • What you'll bring The role of Finance Business Partner requires the following experience and skills:
  • Be minimum part-qualified
  • Have previous experience in programme finance
  • Hold previous Finance Business Partnering experience
  • Be comfortable presenting to all levels within the business
  • Have advanced MS Office Suite skills including Excel Modelling
  • Have a proactive approach to problem solving
