Full Job Description

As a Finance Business Partner, you will support your category exclusively, providing financial expertise to support and challenge the Commercial Teams in order to deliver profitable growth for Morrisons.

You will be working in a dynamic and fast paced environment supporting a large team of high-profile, commercial stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include :

Supporting decision making through delivering accurate analysis and insight

Evaluating results to ensure there is clear understanding of business performance

Completing period end activities (Stock, supplier income etc )

Participating in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts

Play a key role in developing and following up on gap closing activities to ensure performance is delivered in line with expectations

Maintain accurate supplier income agreements including ensuring correct accounting treatment

Identifying and Implementing improvements to ways of working within the Commercial Finance Teams

Evaluating and challenging new product launches, promotional activities new proposals / existing business to ensure profitability

Participate in cross functional project groups

Providing ad hoc Finance support

For this role, we're looking for someone who has :

An accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)

The confidence & ability to challenge non-finance stakeholders to deliver the right end-results

Good verbal communication skills, ability to articulate financial data in a clear and transparent way

Resilience and the ability to adapt in an ever changing environment

Attention to detail skills
