Full Job Description

  • Contribute to the explanation of the weekly trading numbers and monthly P&L in the context of both internal and external factors
  • Deep diving into key P&L variance movements vs budget, providing qualitative insight and owning the production of the monthly operations review pack
  • Lead monthly performance reviews with operations, highlighting opportunities to improve margins, reduce costs, and optimise revenue
  • Act as the financial advisor for the operations team, working with Operations Managers to understand their area performance and offer actionable insights to improve profitability
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to highlight risks and opportunities for the sites
  • Integration with the operators to ensure finance be fully integrated and assisting with providing financial impact analysis and practical recommendations
  • Become subject matter expert in cost of sales and labour, working with the operations team to drive efficiencies
  • Provide financial expertise to operations with developing budgets, improve forecasting models and setting effective restaurant targets
  • Responsible for updating balanced scorecards and calculating store level bonus' based on approved metrics
  • Build financial literacy across operations, fostering a culture of accountability and ownership
  • Contribute to the wider finance team to ensure continuous improvement in controls, efficiency and ways of working

    Are commercially astute, thinks analytically and has the drive to achieve excellence
  • Capable of interpreting complex financial data and presenting insights in a clear & compelling manner
  • Self-starter with ability to work on their own initiative
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Proven track record in a multi-site operational environment, preferably within QSR, hospitality, or retail
  • Are a collaborative team player and confident working with teams across the business
  • Are not afraid of rolling your sleeves up, we're young, lean and need people to get stuck in
    • Technical requirements we're looking for:
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • A proven track record in a multi-site operational environment within QSR or hospitality
  • Previous Finance Business Partnering experience including building & managing relationship with cross functional teams
  • Fully literate with Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with Power BI (desirable, not essential)
