The Wonderfield Group has recently been purchased by Zensho Holdings, the leading food service company in Japan with a market cap of $5.5b and whose aim is to become the worlds largest food company, a position from which we can eradicate hunger and poverty from around the globe. We operate restaurants, factories, and thousands of sushi kiosks and have recently built a successful cut fruit business, Snowfruit. Combining this with the three businesses previously owned by Zensho, AFC, Sushi Circle and Sushi Take, results in annual sales of $2.5b and Ebitda in excess of $140m a year with an ambitious growth trajectory.

Overview of the role:
This role is accountable for the financial management of the Ireland and International business units, ensuring that business performance is reported accurately and robustly on a timely basis. The role will also provide financial decision support to the Ireland / International operational team to facilitate rapid and profitable growth ambitions.
Additionally, the role will work closely with the Head of Finance for Europe in the provision of analysis, insight and financial reporting within the wider Sushi Europe division. It will also support with the anticipated business development initiatives and ad hoc projects arising across the division.

This role will also liaise with the UK and Group finance teams to ensure that Wonderfield Group requirements are met – for example on the regular reporting and planning cycles. It will also have some direct interaction with the CFO, Europe on ad hoc requests.

• For the Ireland Kiosk and International Franchise business units:
• Act as trusted business partner to the Franchise Director and Head of Franchise Operations for Ireland, helping them interpret business performance
• Day-to-day management of the P&L, with a willingness to ‘deep dive’ into the detail to ensure final results are robust and explainable, highlighting trends and anomalies for further investigation and appropriate action
• Delivery of weekly flash submission to Group

• Ownership of all Period-end processes ensuring accurate and timely delivery of results (including management of intercompany process with other business units) with meaningful commentary and adhering to Group deadlines
• Update and maintenance of all associated analysis – Sales & Royalties breakdowns, charts for MD and contributions to Europe Finance pack
• Finance lead for the development of Franchise reporting in Power BI covering Sales, Production and Waste
• Development of Risks and Opportunities schedule and KPI reporting
• Finance lead on business development opportunities
• Capex reporting
• Key contact for divisional and group-wide processes and initiatives
• Financial accountability for in-year re-forecasts, annual budget and longer-term strategic plans
• Support the Head of Finance, Europe in ad hoc projects and initiatives, that could be potentially across any business unit in the division

• Ireland and International Franchise financial reporting is produced accurately and on a timely basis
• Divisional and Group planning requirements are met in full and on time for Ireland and International Franchise
• Ireland and International Franchise financial performance is well communicated, any points
