Full Job Description

  • Leading the team to deliver superior business performance
  • Providing financial insight and proposed actions to improve the underlying financial performance
  • Partnering with the business to identify ways to maximise Return on Sales
  • Integrating within the Bid teams to become a trusted Business Partner
  • Understanding the broader economic climate and how it may impact the future profitability of bids and existing business
  • Ensuring there is focus on maximising operating cash flows
  • Working across the different elements of our Finance teams to optimise performance
  • Driving process improvements, with particular focus on accuracy of inputs and delivery of cost opportunities
  • Your skills and experiences: Essential:
  • Fully qualified in CIMA, ACA or ACCA
  • Desirable:
  • Experience of people management and development
  • Experience as a Finance Business Partner engaging with non-Financial staff and providing decision support to stakeholders - demonstrating business acumen

    Salary: £60,326 plus, depending on skills and experience, You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.   • The Typhoon Future Capability team: This is an exciting role, providing business partner support to the Typhoon future capability project teams. These teams are responsible for increasing the capability of the Typhoon aircraft to, through programmes such as P4E (Phase 4 Enhancements) to integrate new radars and weapons and LTE (Long term Evolution) which is looking to upgrade the cockpit and the mission computer.
