Full Job Description

Experian are looking for a Finance Business Partner who will help align our financial strategy with our strategic goals. Being a bridge between finance and other departments, you will provide strategic financial insights, supports decision-making, and guide financial performance.

  • Provide decision expertise to the business teams in commercial matters spanning product, marketing, technology, operations and customer service. Develop advanced analytics to use data and identify main insights and opportunities.

  • Partner with business teams to increase performance over management expectations.

  • Engage and build relationships with the business teams so as to stay connected on strategies and plans.

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring understanding of the business's strategic goals. Collaborate with department heads to develop realistic budgets and monitor performance against targets.

  • Execute ongoing reporting on performance metrics to benchmark progress against targets, programmes and strategies. Drive meaningful actions to improve results.

  • Manage periodic close responsibilities with central support teams, including revenue and costs critical to capturing our results. Maintain a controlled environment while helping the business to be efficient in decision-making and execution.

  • Prepare and evaluate business cases for new projects or investments, ensuring they align with our financial goals. Provide recommendations based on financial analysis and risk assessment..

  • Collaborate with the global, regional and business unit finance teams across the various countries. Be a coach and role model with the goal of helping people and the business to achieve their collective goals.


  • You will report to the Finance Director of the Experian Consumer Service business.

  • Progressive financial experience.

  • Solid base of commercial acumen, including strategy. Desire to master commercial finance and understand the business from both an internal and external perspective.

  • E-commerce / Consumer finance experience.

  • Provide compelling recommendations and influence senior leaders (both finance and non-finance). Confidence to contribute to the business discussion and debate - not just the numbers.

  • Excellent skills in analytics with the ability to draw concise insights from large sets of data.
