Finance & Commercial Intern

Working within the Finance & Commercial Team in this 12 month internship, you will assist the department with commercial/finance related matters and supporting the technical Project Management team in the execution of a portfolio of Service Projects within the defined targets (e.g. costs, time, quality) and ensuring customer satisfaction.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Managing and optimize targeted financial results with due professional care (e.g. project gross profit, cash flow, assets and financing instruments)


• Preparing Management reports


• Using and developing digital tools to enhance the efficiency of internal processes.


• Ensuring compliance with local GAAP requirements, Siemens FRG and internal controls


• Ensuring the accuracy of project books and records, incl. recording of such in appropriate systems, e.g. SAP


• Initiates invoicing according to project progress and contractual terms


• Supports the PM in identifying, minimizing non-conformance costs and establishing an appropriate reporting structure; supports the implementation of lessons learned into own project and the organization in general.

  Graduate with a 2.2 or above in an Accounting/Finance or Business Degree


• Self-driven individual that consistently takes ownership of assigned tasks and projects.


• Effectively work as part of a diverse, multi-disciplined team.


• Have an eye for detail and apply analytical skills to decision making and problem solving.


• Can understand and effectively communicate complex information, proficient in writing and IT skills including use of Excel and PowerPoint
