Full Job Description

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world's largest companies., Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance, the Finance Controller will lead an excellent finance team, whose members are strong communicators, ambitious & innovative.

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting activities and effective financial operation of the function and implementing appropriate financial and accounting procedures to coordinate transactions to ensure compliance to relevant legislative and corporate directives and to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations.

What a typical day looks like :

Lead and manage the accounting team and financial process planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting and internal control

Coordinate and oversee the financial aspects of the assigned business segment

Prepare Business Unit forecast

Oversee the activities of the Accounting Department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, 12 month rolling forecasts and annual audits

Oversee the activities of the Accounts Receivable Department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all Accounts Receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc.

Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company's value, including complying with the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act

Prepare reports that summarise and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations

Review company financial statements for accuracy and clarity

Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Relevant BSc / MSc degree along with additional credentials (CPA, or progress towards achieving)

Strong background in finance (typically 7 years), ideally with manufacturing experience

Experience in and understanding of US GAAP

Solid leadership / management skills

Possess strong Excel skills, demonstrable experience using Excel extensively

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Eligible to work in the UK
